The Suhurwardi silsilah seems hidden nowadays. Has anyone heard of any living Suhurwardi Shaikhs? Is anyone here connected to them or doing Suhurwardi azkar?

i myself was very intersting to find a living shaikh performing and teaching soharwardi azkaar. for this purpose i went to multan.

Soharwardi silsila ijaza is continuing in slasil of ulema mashaikh deoband alhamdullilah.

the famous mazars of soharwardi silsila are in Multan,Pakistan. Mashaikh who are able to get faiz from passedaway bazurgs are still connected to the soharwardi silsila.i know its not for every one.

Hazrat haji imdaullah muhajar makki(rta) wrote in his book zia ul qloob that the qadri and chishti have a great Nisbati relationship so they do amaal,azkaar and ashghaal of each other.same to soharwardi silsila, its asbaaq are also like(near to)qadri and chishti.

one shaikh i came to know is hazrat qazi SHAUKAT sb. of Haala near Hayderabad, Sindh. he is of soharwardi owasi silsila.he is an active member of TJ also.

I have heard of a Shaikh in " Marghuzar", near saidu Sharif Swat. He is a living, purely suhurwardi Shaikh.
I don,t know his name though, but he is pretty well known in the area. Majlis Raepuri,while visiting his Mashaikh in Saidu Sharif might want to see him too.

A saalik needs to learn the tark e asbaab, tark e dunya teachings from Suhrawardi tareeqa. Tark e asbaab meaning one lifts his gaze off from asbaab and his gaze is firmly fixed on the real doer of the action behind the means, Allah swt. Tark e dunya, leaving behind dunya pleasures for pleasures of Allah swt, pleasures of aakhirat. These are all deeply taught in Suhrawardi tareeqa. They are usually incorporated within shaikhs teachings now a days.
