brother its important not to tell your dreams to all and sundry. and never ever tell your dreams to an enemy - therefore be absolutely careful to keep your identity private on here. I may sound like I am being cranky but there is a reason for this.
there is a book called ibn Sirin's (ra) dictionary of dreams that many Muslims like but it is likely to be inauthentic or partially authentic so avoid buying it and trying to use it as a manual of dream interpretation. Understanding the symbology of dreams is not such a simple thing that it can be understood by just a book, it is more a gift that Allah gives people. Some Sheikhs and scholars are gifted in it, but not all of them so do not expect every learned Muslim to be able to answer you but if you ask around InshaAllah then you will find someone who is a 100% Sunnah Muslim (avoid anyone who falls short in following Shariah) who can help you. Brother I am not interpreting your dream for you but in general terms when someone dreams about snakes biting them it can refer to their bad deeds as these come to them in the grave as biting snakes. Alternativel according to Ibn Sirin in a dream snakes symbolise our enemies. 4 small/weakish enemies ring a bell to you? If you go to an expert on this by knowing about you and your circumstances and the context of your dream he may give you a totally different interpretation completely unrelated to either of these possibilities. Just in case it is related to the bad deeds then you should perhaps consider (keeping the answer to yourself) what could be 4 minor habitual sins (they were small snakes and only on your toe) that you do in your life, and then struggle to give them up. Whatever happens if someone interprets your dream correctly then you will likely have a strong 'oh yes' feeling, like you knew it all the time but just couldnt put your finger on it. |

I am Opening this Thread to find out (if possible) the Dream Interpretation. In the Name of Allah The Most Merciful, All Forgiving, The first thing I need to say is that good dreams is a blessing from Allah Ta'ala and bad dreams are from Shaytan The Cursed. One thing that we have to keep in mind is that whenever someone sees a good dream, he has to thank Allah Ta'ala and tell it to someone who is close to you and you believe in him that he's good. The best person whom you can tell the dream and request to interpret it, is a pious Aalim ( religious scholar ). And whenever someone sees a bad dream, he has to recite AAOUZUBILLAHI MINSHAYTANIR RAJEEM 3 times and spit on his left side, after waking up. And also he mustn't tell it to anyone. If you don't tell it to anyone nothing will happen. And also give sadaqah. As for the dream you saw, snakes mean enemies. Don't worry in-shaa-Allah nothing will happen. Give sadaqah and make dua to Allah that HE keeps you and everyone away from all bad. Hope this answer will satisfy you. |

I've heard that one should be extremely careful in who you tell your dreams too, reason being it might be a good dream and if they interpret it wrong then whatever they say then that actually might end up being the outcome due to wrong interpretation. How true this is I'm not sure but it's something I have heard, the rest Allah knows best.
Walah'Alam However the general gist is good dreams are from Allah and bad are from Satan which should be ignored and not pondered on, also we have been told about what to do in Sunnah and Ahadith if bad dreams take place etc, the rest Allah knows best. |
