do humans malt their hair around the summer time? If it continues, I'd see a dermatologist or your gyno. |

Thanx zorak. I forget what you study. But I have a feelig it's something science-y. I may be wrong. ![]() On the topic, different races\cultures can usually grow their hair to different lengths. For example, Indian Hindu's and sikh's have the ability to grow their hair way down below their arse. While us northern hemisphere Christian's find that once down below the shoulder, hair starts to fall out - giving the apperance of 'hair that doesn't grow any further'. Similarly, I'd imagine a number of tribes of Native American's possess the ability to grow their hair to extreme lengths. It is of no coincidence also that young girls find it easy to grow very long hair, an ability that diminishes with age. |

You lose something like 500-1000 hairs a day.
If you run your hands through you hair, or brush it, you're getting rid of the extras. If you only brushed it in the morning and then showered at night, more will come out. If you brush it right before you shower, less will come out. It might also make a difference if you've pulled your hair back or not. |
