Sounds like it is most likely stress related.
I've had my eye area twitch. Drives ya nuts! Try to deep breath and repeat a positive thought to yourself when it happens. Something like.... the toast in the toaster isn't really burning and that smell must be a mistake.... No. That's too long. Try: when the weather permits I'll go fishing. No. That's not quite right. I know: That guy has a nice ass. That guy has a nice ass. Just say it over and over and over again. Try not to laugh though. Oh wait! Do laugh. Laughing relieves stress. ![]() |

This is what they call Facial tics. There is really no definitive cause but as most have said, it's sometimes associated with stress, anxiety, lack of sleep, neurological issues or Cardiovascular issues esp if one has high blood pressure where it decreases circulation to the facial muscles. Electrolyte imbalance can also be a cause and it's due to lack of Magnesium over any other electrolytes. Potassium is needed for muscles but this electrolyte is more highly associated with heart muscles per se.
Rest and increasing circulation to the area can be done to alleviate your symptoms. You can try warm compress and with your fingertips massage lightly your facial muscles esp where it twitches a lot. Read also on the following and monitor if your symptoms gets worst. If it does, seek medical help right away. Hope the info helps and hoping you'll feel better soon ![]() http://www.neuro-vision.us/Articles/...nate_them.html |
