7lbs from loading?!

I am on my second round of HCG, VLCD1. I gained 7lbs from my loading days! During my last round, I only gained .4lbs from my loading days. I am feeling totally discouraged by this huge jump in weight. I was all ready about 7lbs over my LIW. I stabilzed about 3lbs over my LIW and then I put on another 4lbs from poor eating choices. So as of right now, I am 14lbs over my LIW. I am just sick to my stomach about it. Please tell me that this is normal?!

Try not to worry about it. You probably ate something you're sensetive to. It should be gone in a couple of days.

Welcome to massive gluten &/or starch intolerance. First time I loaded I put on like 2 lbs. every round after that (I have completed 4 rounds thus far) I gained a HUGE amount. Like 9-14 lbs in 2 days. I have come to realize I have a bad gluten sensitivity and even if I consume a tiny bit the scale screams the next day. I am talking eating 2slices of pizza (small slices) gives me a 2+ gain the next day. Now imagine loading! Yikes.

I am loading now for r5 and I am so not touching anything with starch or sugar. It'll be interesting to see if I even gain more than 1lb or so. I am not even really loading. Just adding in some extra nuts and other good fats for fat loading purposes. I am not even really increasing my normal food amounts.

That weight will fly off within a week. I bet anything you lose those 7 lbs in your first 3-5 vlcd days. It always came off me fast.

OH, I feel for you. This will make you feel better. Granted this gain wasn't in two days, but one week. Christmas eve I weighed 239 by New Year's Eve 249 (New Year's Eve til today - my REAL loading days) 256.7!!!!!! Almost twenty pounds in one week. I've maintained in P3 almost the entire time with the exception of a quick jump over Thanksgiving with a quick recovery. I was so excited to be under my LDW and in one week screwed it all up. Oh well, I'm just jumping in fully committed and going to go crazy with the water starting now. Just be happy we're past the holidays and we'll be moving down soon. Good luck!

It's ok. You purposely loaded so don't beat yourself up that you gained more then you expected. I know this isn't the way but I purposely don't weigh myself until I am done loading. I don't want to know how much I gained.

Look at the bright side...it will come off quickly and give you a bigger boost in your numbers so you will feel more accomplished. It's probably just water weight or something anyways so don't be to concerned.

Happy New Year!!

Thank you all for your advice and support! I really appreciate it. My loading weight is gone, so now I can get going with the real weight loss!

Just wanted to update, since starting the HCG again after a week of bad eating and loading (over 15 lbs gained!). In four days, I've lost 13.2 lbs!! Woohoo! I was so discourage about the big gain, but it's coming off quick. Just in case there are any of you out there like me. You can do it too!! http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png

Loading days (not to mention the 1.0 pound I gained before loading days doing something akin to loading) +9.2 pounds.

After one VLCD: -7.0 pounds.

It does come off fast http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png

Thank goodness!! I thought it was funny when someone said, "What did you do eat non-stop?" I was just thinking, um, yep. I learned my lesson for next time. Happy to hear yours is dropping off fast too!
