Didn't recognise this until around the 7th minute or so - that is well known of course but I think the preceding sections are as equally enjoyable if not more so.

^I just watched Fantasia this weekend!

Frankly this thread has made me binge on classical music, I really love it in the fall and winter...usually listen to shitty pop music I can work out to, or indie/metal/rock in the car. It's a nice change.

This is the musical definition of epic.

Embedding was disabled - but of course, it's a famous and great piece.

I listened to it again on youtube (via your link) and I've said it before and I'll say it again but the segment from 3.07 to about 4.55 should be our national anthem this side of the pond. It's so very.... English. It's just got that fantastic vibe that makes me feel quite patriotic and far better than the anthem we have currently...
