Something a bit different
Virtuoso Bodhran solo
two by the full group group |
While the name of this percussion instrument is a bodhran, I don't see any Indians playing raga with it.
Shouldn't these people be dancing along the top of a rain gutter on a golden temple while they play, instead of waiting for the drummer to finish? |
While the name of this percussion instrument is a bodhran, I don't see any Indians playing raga with it. That could be cos it's an Irish instrument.

Is bodran an Irish word? It could be, but as you can see, I thought it was Indian.
If you're Irish, being allowed to sing and dance without moving your upper bodies, is allowed. I'm still not seeing dancing and prancing legs. |
