Damn, too bad. I'm surprised I didn't hear anything about this earlier.

Lagwagon was a lot better when they had him, compared to now, in my opinion. He was really quite a good drummer.

R.I.P. Derrick

Lagwagon founder member Derrick Plourde found dead
 

For those of you that don't know who Derrick Plourde was he was a founder member of the Californian Punk band Lagwagon. A drummer for Mad Caddies, The Ataris and more recently Bad Astronaut.
He took his own life on March 30th with a self inflicted gunshot wound. He was found in his parents bedroom.

It is sad that another great musician has died and my deepest condolences go out to Plourde's family and friends.
