I've heard some of her stuff through her work with the Matthew Good Band, and finally found her site the other day, which has a few albums available to listen to. After listening to them, the "female Matthew Good" comparisons I've seen of her definitely ring true. Actual meaning in songs, a great voice, and the songs are actually GOOD beyond that.
