Default Where can I learn to play
The guitar. I found a old acoustic guitar in my closet and im interested in playing it. I live in the city, there are tons of guitar stores around here, but I know if I walk in there and tell them to teach me how to play the guitar they're gunna laugh me out the store. So does any one here know where I can learn to play the guitar? Like maybe theres a general book that teaches you all the notes and that stuff..Thanks in advance to any one who replies...

yeah buy Guitar For Dummies. It will teach you everything probably. My friend had it one day and I glanced through it. I learned by other friends who are older that could play.
