My Guides

Just wanted to share a bit about my guides, and how I found them.

The first one I met was about 3 years or so ago (I was 17). I had moved into my sister's old room, and I kept feeling like something was in the corner watching me, not menacingly, but watching. After a while, he started talking. This was before I discovered my abilities, so I didn't trust myself to believe there was a spirit there. But a few months later, I was in a bad car crash, the police and paramedics were surprised I didn't have to be air lifted to the hospital. I walked away with one light bruise, that was it. And I knew that this spirit had saved my life. His name is Allan, and he is my lowest level guide, meaning he has not yet reached his Higher Self. Helping me is also moving him toward that. We've been through a lot together, including a past life. He is the loudest of my three guides; always talking my ear off (lol).

About a year and a half later, I was in my first year of college. I was walking home from a class when I felt a strong presence following me. This turned out to be my guide Sven. Sven is my strongest guide, as he is a full Guide. Sven is very quiet, stands in the background mostly. He steps forth occasionally when I need protection or to offer advice in important situations. He's a big hulking Swedish dude, with a fur trench coat, long golden blonde hair. He has a think accent, which might be a reason he doesn't speak much, I have trouble understanding sometimes, lol.

My most recently discovered guide is very mysterious. I had felt a slight presence around, but couldn't place it. I had a reading done by someone I trust, and she told me I had a "young man" guide that wouldn't tell her his name. At first I was skeptical, but later she described him to me. Earlier, I had had a dream that was very much unlike any of my others, with a man who came up to my window and drew this diagram in the window. I know that dream holds a lot of meaning, and I wondered why that man was there, I had never seen him before. Now I know that he is this other guide; he looks exactly as described in the reading. He still won't tell his name, but I have taken to calling him "Devon".

Most people suggest finding a guide through meditation, but all of mine have just kind of showed up...lol. It is THEY who found me when I needed them. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.png

Thanks for sharing your experiences sammaine.

I was taught about guides when studying "beginners mediumship" with Kate McDaniel, but I had some years earlier too.

For me, personally...I have this strange problem with incredible scepticism. Well, being sceptical can be very good really, but I think there are some areas (such as mediumship) where this really gets in my way.

You seem to have come by your guides quite easily and have a strong connection with them too.

I'm sort of just thinking out loud here...but I suppose it would help me if I would make the time to connect, re-connect with my guides and ask them to show me more ways to verify their connection to me and to "seeing/knowing"

Sheesh! Hope I'm not sounding too goofy with this post, but I was surprised to hear how easily you made a connection. I'm hoping to strengthen mine and be better equipped to read well for others.

Blessings to you sammaine,
eyesee

I also found mine at the age of 5. No formal training. There are many out there that have always known of them because we've lived a very open and carefree life.

Not everyone is the same and not everyone will even "meet" their guides, but they are still there. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.png

You were one of the lucky ones http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.png
