My lawyer let me know today that a date for my hearing was set in early July, so hopefully by fall end I'll get approved and better if I can move out by the end of the year too http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/biggrin.png

Fingers crossed for you love if this is what you want. I have read a lot of your posts recently, and know that you really desire to become independant. I wish you well with your quest.

Well obviously I don't want SSI but it's a need, however, I want the independence and clean slate it can give me. For once I can sit and really consider my career options and hopefully live in an area with a lot more resources than I do know to get to all my goals.

There is nothing wrong with striving for your goals, its good that you have goals. I think that in due course you will get what you want, even if you have to fight for it. Nothing worth having ever comes without a fight.

I think that you are approaching a turning point in your life, and who knows where it will finailze. BUT, life is meant to be a journey of ups and downs, peace and tranquillity and then a little strife. Its how we learn isnt it.

I hope that you have good friends and family around you to support you. And that the 'people in offices' that have the power, are on your side and will work towards helping you where it is needed. I will pray for you, that life gives you what you desire at this time.

Thanks everyone but now I'm more anxious about if I'll get approved and be able to move out on my own. I hope to get all this done by Christmas but we'll see.
