Default Do you think Studying grammar is more important than practicing conversation skills? Why or why not.
Studying grammar is only needful because it comes in exam and that too of heavy marks…you can’t leave that topic...also it's scoring..

I am an English teacher in sunshine school in Ireland. I think it is obligatory. Grammar is a discipline of language which controls it and makes it perfect and servable.

In normal day to day talk, much emphasis is not necessary till u r able to deliver what u want to say..on the other hand sometimes being a perfectionist makes problems for other...they may not get u easily…again speaking a grammatically corrected language would seem like very formal.

It's necessary for example, take a statement: woman without man is nothing. Without punctuation it means nothing n is actually very absurd. This can go in two directions. One, "woman, without man is nothing" and other "woman without man, is nothing.
