Bolton Wanderers player, collapses on the pitch just now in his teams cup game against Spurs. He received a few minutes of treatment and has now been taken to hospital. Hopefully this isn't as serious as it looks, but it didn't look at all good. Needless to say the game has been abandoned, the players were not in the right frame of mind.

News coming in from the hospital that he's stable in hospital. Wonderful news to hear.

What happened? Was it just random?

Glad he's stable.

He...just collapsed, nobody around him. Which worried me greatly.

He is now in a critical condition in the ICU

Thoughts with him and his family.

i gather he recieved CPR on the pitch so a heart attack is a possibility, hes a good player...sadly its possible that he wont play again, especially if its a heart attack

much respect to spurs for agreeing to abandon the game,no winners here...just one that will be lost to football
