we had major tornadoes here today (actually under a state of emergency) and all the networks had coverage of the wild weather. The network that is carrying the game stepped aside just before the top of the hour to get to the game coverage....my sympathies do go out to those families who have been displaced due to the weather....

I live in the lower mainland of BC and can't wait until this shenannigans is over. All day long it's Stanley Cup this... Stanley Cup that... Canucks this... Canucks that.... at work.. on the radio... the bloody news is dedicated to it in print, on TV and on the radio. Canucks flags everywhere you look. I've seen so many I even see 'em when I shut my eyes. Doesn't anyone realize it's a bunch of adult men playing a kids game and getting paid mega buck for doing it while the rest of the world is falling apart at the seams.

The tickets for tonight's game went on sale yesterday and they sold out in seconds. That means the cheapest sets that were $200 buck have now increased to a gazillion which makes it unfordable for a father / mother to take his son or daughter to a game.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

it's terrible...light of day shows the destructive path of these tornadoes....believe you me, we were verrrrrrrrrrrrry lucky to just have the thunder and lightning and heavy rains and no property damage. those who lost their homes or anyone in their family...words escape me...

Well I give Boston credit for an awesome game..

But that goal with 19 seconds left was a beauty..

Mind you when we pinged one off the goal post I thought, SHIT there goes the game...

Other then the 3 on 5s we played most of the game at a very fast pace.. Quite a bit of end to end plays that had players completely drained..
