Default "Reinforced" Kennel for Airline Travel
I am currently stationed overseas on Okinawa and will be moving back to the US with my 4-year old pit, Roxy, towards the end of the year. Because it seems that I will only be able to fly United with her, I need to buy a kennel that is approved by them - for pits that means it needs to be reinforced (NOT plastic). Any ideas? I have found some online but they are a little pricey (~$600-$900) for aluminum. I will need to buy it online so they also must ship to APO addresses.

Any ideas on what kind/brand of kennel to buy? It can be metal, wood or a synthetic material...but just not plastic.

Thanks!

I don't really have any specific direction to point you but you're definitely looking at spending a pretty penny for any kind of metal reinforced crate. Let us know what you find.
