Default Can anyone tell what my pit is mixed with?
I have a pit who is now 9 years old but I've been curious for years what he is mixed with. Any clues? Thanks.

Without a pedigree, you will never know. I would say Pit Bull mix but not sure what he could be mixed with besides Pit Bull. He is very handsome, though!

No idea. I'm digging his pattern though

How's his energy level at 9 years old? My boy will be 8 in June and still acts like an obnoxious puppy.

He looks like a typical pet pit bull type to me, may not be mixed with anything, or he might be, but takes after the pit bull side of him more. Either way, he's handsome!

Could be anything... lol.. Go look at my puppies pic's.. It looks just like mine in the face.. Just different colors.. Mine is 1/2 German Shepperd and 1/2 Pit.. Great looking dog though. But the real question is what does he weigh?

Tigers growing up nicely an I just wanted to share.

I can only echo what has been said already. We know what your dog is as much as you know what your dog is. There is no magic wand that allows anyone to know what breed/s are in a dog. For example, there is a dog on here who is from a Boston Terrier mix bitch, but you would NEVER know it looking at the dog that she is part Boston Terrier.

American and Staffordshire (Irish) Bull Terriers IMHO

Come again?

He is a great boy, his energy level is like a puppy's. He loves to go for runs, he isn't showing any signs of slowing down just yet. Thanks everyone for your answers, I can't tell either but I know he isn't purebred because his mom escaped the owners yard and got pregnant. Maybe one day I'll get a DNA test done lol and he weighs 60 pounds at his heaviest (which is when he gets ran everyday and gains a bit of muscle) His fur is red and white but when he's in the sun you can see brindle in it, its very cute.

This him now, age hasn't been kind to his looks (he has a lot of gray fur lol) but like I said, he's still a puppy at heart.
