Thanks MJJean, I'm hoping I won't have to fight to get it refunded.

I'd either call and ask if you can send it back for a refund and buy the aluminum bed or make my own. If you are somewhat handy and live near a hardware store or home improvement store and fabric store you can buy the parts and do it yourself. If you need aluminum parts the hardware/home improvement store should have them or be able to direct you to someone who does. If you can't cut parts to fit the hardware/home improvement stores often offer cutting services as a courtesy.

Here is a link to the youtube video another member posted on how to make a raised bed if you decide to go that route. They use PVC, but the instructions should be the same with aluminum.

Do they have a customer service number? I like to talk to a real person if at all possible. I hate waiting on email.

She has an XL crate and we purchased the large Kuranda. She was able to lay on the bed and chew the front rail of the bed pretty badly. I called right away and left a voicemail and have yet to receive a call back. I would like to exchange the bed for the aluminum one and pay the difference.

Well Luna had her Kuranda bed for 20 minutes before the entire front part was chewed....now what?!

I really should have gone for the aluminum one. She is well exercised dog that hasn't chewed anything but her beds! We had her crated for 30 minutes while we vaccumed the floor.
She managed to chew it up while in her crate? Impressive!

They have a 1yr. warranty, so I would email or call them and explain what happened. Maybe ask if you can return it in exchange for an aluminum one?

Ah reasons my dogs don't have crate beds. Or actually any beds. Hope you get it exchanged in short order with little hassel!
