At first I thought the photo was distorted a bit but wow that is a huge dog. I could not imagine having that big of a dog

My wife wants a great dane...bad. I keep trying to explain that our queen size bed isn't big enough for us, our current dog (who we suspect is at least a little dane) and a great dane.

Isn't that the dog that got largest dog alive or something? He takes like...4 lb shits at a time and has to use a queen size mattress as a dog bed if I remember correctly. I think I saw it on Animal Planet once

I'm pretty sure this dog passed away.

Apparently I like to make things up. I can't find anything that says he passed away.

There is some serious wide-angle DOF distortion going on. If that man was sitting upright on the same plane as the dog, he wouldn't look AS large.

That's what I thought but then I saw some of the other photos and he does look pretty big

Oh, for sure he's huge. But photography tricks make you perceive him as even larger.

Glad I am not the only one that thought the photo looked distorted. Though my eyesight was going there for a minute

I agree, the photos are definitely distorted. Yes, it's a big damn dog... but he isn't the huge monstrosity the photos make him seem like lol

I WILL have a dane some day. Mark my words!

Where's the "like" button?

4 pound shits. Good God. I've been feeling sorry for myself because Nitro is needing me to use two bags per helping. 4 pounds?? What do they use? Kitchen garbage bags?

That's a lot of shit, if I do say so myself. They probably just let him fertilize the garden and don't worry about it. Or maybe they should sell it as fertilizer as a side job.

Zorba

Zorba was over 343 pounds, measured 8 feet 3 inches long to his nose to his tail and stood 37 inches at the shoulder. He was recorded in the books as Aicama Zorba in November 1989 at the age of 8 years old. Chris Eraclides of London, England owned him. Even though, Zorba has passed away and he is no longer listed in the Guinness Book, he is still remembered fondly in the canine world. Deceased or not, there are many that still consider Zorba the greatest and largest dog ever, regardless of who is listed in the book.
