Default I am proud
Peanut went to dock jumping practice today. He was in a crate and a lady came into the facility with her lab and she was really nice but she asked us what kind of dog Peanut is we told her and she said she was fearful of them. Well by the end of practice she loved Peanut and told us she is no longer going to fear the breed and wants to get to know more of them. She is going to be at the event we are going to and said she is looking forward to seeing him again.

it was just nice to see him change someone's mind on the breed. it helped that she was not close minded and we did not push him on her but she just got to see him be himself (in what is Peanut's biggest distraction, seeing a dock and pool) though due to that his obedience was a little skewed he pulled me a little and barked at a few dogs that stood right in front of his crate but overall he was really good.

anyways short story but i was proud none the less because he was a good ambassador of the breed

What a great story. Several of my dogs have changed some peoples' minds about the breed, it's a great feeling.

GOOD JOB PEANUT!

I love that feeling when your dog makes someone think twice about hating or being fearful of a dog just because of its breed.
I know Bear has changed a few minds already, even the neighbor who said he was going to be aggressive and attack people when he grows up has kind of come around.

thanks you guys! i am really proud of him mainly because he didn't try to he just was himself. it felt really good because he gets some people that give the oh great a pitbull attitude and then to have this lady come in and say she has been afraid of the dogs and wanted to hide her dog inside a building when he was out (told her no need to he has been learning to control himself and we can control him. she at first hid her dog (i understand her fear she told us her neighbors weiner dog was attackd by a pitbull) but she slowly stopped hiding him and started to talk to us and wanted to know more about Peanut and that she is looking forward to seeing him again. i felt warm inside

I love when our dogs and us can change even one mind! I live in a very heavily populated muslim area, it can be very frustrating taking Tegan for a walk. But every now and then we get to enlighten an individual or family with the balls to act on their curiosity.

Go Peanut! :3

it feels great. i wish he would already have his cgc though so i could have told her about that but he has a few more weeks or month before we get to try and earn that. it would have made it that much nicer.

thanks prada
