Squeezing one of the links should allow it to slide out. I'm a little confused though: if it's too small, you would want to add a link or two, not remove one...

Well, ya need to pull them apart to add one.. lol. I'd say, try pliers to bend the prongs a bit, and then keep squeeze the dickens out of it!

Well if she figured out it was too small she would have had to put it on Eagle and taken it off I wouldn't bend the prongs with pliers, that could potentially cause a prong to break when it is needed the most.

Umm, keep trying each link until you get one you can squeeze enough to unlink the chain to add another one? You shouldn't need any tools to squeeze a link to get it to come apart. Do you know how it should be fitted? Most people have them fitted too loose. Also, is it getting back-tied to another collar for safety? Prong collars are not 100% fail proof.

plyers will work as long as you dont hulk them. they will bend before they break.

What brand of prong did you get? I tend to find anything that isn't an HS to be a PITA to work with.

At first they are pretty stiff. I will hold my thumbs on the loop parts and put my fingers on the part that touches the dogs neck and push it though the hole that way because Im not strong enough to just squeeze and pull or I always feel like Im jaming it into their necks. So I found the shoving the poky end back though the looped part to work best for me and my dogs. If that even made and sense.
