Default Goren's great vet visit
well wanted to tell you all that Goren got his vacc.s today (they were a week late due to Doobie being euthed) and well 1st it was nice because a lady in the waiting room and I were talking, yea her dog did not like Goren stairing but that was easily fixed. She feeds TotW, I was so happy to find another person with a brain at my vet . well then the exam...I told Goren to come and I pointed to the scale...got him to get on it and sit stay impressing the tech then I walked him to the waiting room and he was all happy but behaving like a good boy. I put his paws up on me and then the tech and doc. came in so he hopped off onto the bench with his front paws, making it perfect for the vet to see his wonderful figure which I got many complements about. She said he was in perfect shape, I think she is kinda sad I have to get him a little chubby for winter >.< but either way he stood there for her to check him and then for his shots with the tech holding his head and loving on him (yep that is the amount of restraint he needs...just a good neck rub lol) well he did not feel the shots like always, she said his right ear looks a little red, I just cleaned it out yesterday, it was really dirty so I figured that, I have to watch that but that is all, perfect bill of health and only $40 for the shots and all...I love my vet

Isn't it nice when it's smooth sailing at the vet's, and you even meet a person with brains in the lobby ?

Sounds like a great visit!
I went to drop Lily's fecal off today and I woman tried to let her dog greet a dog that was growling at it, like literally walked her dog to the growling dog (labradoodle vs. poodle). I was like "um, I don't think he wants to play" and the lady was like "oh, aw too bad..." .
Please send me your smart people!!!!! We desperately need them here.

look on the bright side, at least you did not have Lilly with you, I would send them but I think they would come back because I have never met a single person that does not love this vet...I keep thinking of swapping because of the distance then I go and I am like no way hehe.

Exactly. Just had a bag of poop, and I would've thrown it at the dumb owner if she let her dog get bit .
I know how you feel about good vets. There are easily 100+ hospitals within a 30min drive from my house. But even if my vet were to go over an hour away, 2hrs away, I'd still go to her (obviously I would go to the ER a mile away in case of emergency).

A good vet is worth their weight in gold! Glad Goren was such a good boy, as always!
