How do you know when its the right thing to do? Sattva was returned today - they said it did not work out with her because they live on a farm and have chickens, ducks, rabbits and such and she keeps chasing them.. I was more than relieved when she was returned.. She ran right up to me when I opened the door.. she was home and she knew it! I want to help other dogs that need help, but I also know she was meant here. And obviously it wasn't meant to be for her to be there! If I keep her, that's it.. I can not take in anymore until their perm home comes along.. and that breaks my heart.. but as happy as I was she came back.. and the face on her - just knowing she knew she was home.. is soooo worth closing that door.. isn't it?

How do you know when it's the right thing??? I want both, but I can't have both.. so I have to choose.. and pray I make the right choice.
