I'm looking at puppies, because we feel that is the best household match right now.

I have a "phone interview" with a rescue tomorrow.

They normally only adopt to people 28 and older, and I'm only 25, but they seem to be willing to work with me since I meet all the other criteria.

We are looking at Pit Bull/Boston Terrier mixes. They are freakin adorable.

Here is a picture of the one who I think has captured my heart, I want to meet them first though.

Krista- that's not me, that is their picture from Pet Finder. I haven't met them yet. I'm hoping that we can arrange to see them sunday evening!

I pretty much think they are all adorable... but that FACE! It calls to me! We shall see which one calls to me in person.

They are 3 females left. We want a female cause Bubs is a male. He loves little dogs, but we are going to have to teach him to be gentle with the itty bitty puppy.

I was going to adopt, but the local shelter had all kinds of rules. They wanted to do a house inspection and required a fenced in back yard. I was like, "Um... no thank you," and then went and purchased my pup. I'm a triathlete. I don't need a fence. When he gets older we can run many miles together then he can sleep in my bed.

He'll get all his play side-by-side with me... Run. Bike. or Swim.

Essentially, I don't like rules.

I waited almost 2 years until I felt that fate brought Racers new house mate and us together and it all just clicked

Oh there were times when I searched the local want ads for puppies but nothing sounded right until Bubbles fell into our lap
