why worry. If your neighbor is that ignorant that he/she avoids you because they are judgmental of your dogs then you dont want to associate with that person anyway.

How to deal with the cold looks? Just ignore it. Make sure your dogs are well behaved, UTD on the vaccines, and you follow the animals laws enforced in your area.
