OMG.. So, this morning, as usual, I was laying in bed with both Chansey and Zephyr, with the window up about 8", watching the cars go by. They both always lay with their heads on the sill, no problem. Well, I saw a squirrel across the street, and next thing I know, Zephyr is through the screen, and jumping off the roof from the second floor! OMG! He landed right in the middle of the street, and proceeded to go for the squirrel. My fiance ran downstairs and got him in, and the only injury was a scraped chin.

I know I screamed, and per Josh, the neighbors were like "Holy shit!!! that dog just jumped out the window!!!"

I was shaking sooo bad.. I'm surprised he didn't break a leg, landing in the street like that. He leapt off the edge like he was taught in dock jumping!

I don't know what the moral of that story is.. maybe using cargo nets instead of screens.. but HOLY HELL, I'm SOOOO glad he's ok! He could've been hit by a car... anything!
