My husband's aunt apparently has always loved dogs and thinks she has alot of knowledge on them which to me she knows a little or she's very elective on information to what breed she owns and still she doesnt know anything.lol Anyways she just sends me a message on Facebook saying this:

Precious is so cute - very photogenic! i wish i could see that pup NOW b4 it gets bigger!!

my response to her was this:

Shes fantastic! Very quick learner just as Skitz was. Why not when she gets bigger? You can meet her at any size

She pisses me off. With my Am Staff when she was 6 months old i went to husbands aunts house with her in San Fran and at that time she had a 7 month old mutt nothing against mutts but she didnt even know what type of dog his is etc from pit bull mix to Shepard to other mixes his name is Hugs anyways they had got into a fight, my skitz and her hugs. Where skitz never ever showed aggression to this dog not even a growl where hugs on the other hand showed aggression he attacked my dog numerous times and ofcourse she was defending herself and in the scuffle husbands aunt got bit and instantly blamed my dog. I'm not saying that she couldnt have bit her but her dog was going crazy on snapping his jaws then again thats what shepards do is the go crazy in snapping. Anyways she tells everyone that she loves pit bulls etc but she is soooo full of it, its ridiculous. Anyways to cut a long story short my skitz till this day has never bit anyone or has shown aggression to anyone either human or animal where her dog escapes from her yard, has bitten people and has been threatened to get shot but all she does is make excuses for him and tries to cover things up, but then again her dogs are perfect cause they aren't pits.

Don't worry about it. You don't want her around your dog if she is going to act that way. You certianly don't want her dog around your dogs! Sometimes people are just ignorant and if they don't want to be educated there is nothing you can do.

yeah i know but it just aggravates me soo much! so frustrating!! and wow she hasn't even responded to my reply like what a shocka!!

There is someone I work with who tells me constanly how mean and vicious APBTs are... I have offered to let her meet my dog... she doesn't want to. She just wants to be ignorant.

I'm sure if she had to get to know one her mind will definitely change on the breed. Hubby's aunt has met my Am staff and every single time has said shes so well behaved and that she's a fantastic dog and she gets slobbered in kisses but soon as she leaves i guess her mind changes in that time..Well yeah i guess u cant change everyones mind on the breed but i do admit i have changed a few peoples minds and they actually do pass the words on to other people that have some problem on our wonderful breed of Pit bulls.
