I decided to let my dogs sleep with me since my husband was working last night.
They stole my pillow, 90% of the bed, and most of the covers! Lucy couldn't get close enough to me and I have the bruises in my back to prove it. I tried to use Bully as a pillow and that screwed up my back. The only good thing was I got my face washed before I even left the bed I don't know how people risk their pillows, blankets and backs just to let a dog sleep with them! |

Haha! We just recently started letting our girl sleep with us and she is pretty good about not being a bed hog. She usually lays between us or at our feet, although she has fallen out of our very high bed twice, lol. I think she gets lost under the covers and can't find the top, so she just tumbles out.

I have always let at least 1 APBT sleep with me/us. Hubs is outta town alot so its great. If you train them properly, they do well.
Right now I just have Sox, now he is a pusher and gets in a tight ball between us and pushes with his feet. I usually tell him to get under the covers and he goes to the foot of the bed and all is well. Till....he.... farts... |

LOL! Last night Otto was acting really funny at bedtime. He sat on his bed. Turned around. Got up and patted the bit of a blanket hanging off the bed. Back to his bed, turnign around. Sitting up and looking at me with an alarmed, confused look.
I finally got up to see what was wrong. LOL, one of my husband's work shoes had been dropped accidentally into his bed. So out of order, and you know how they like things to be The Way Things Ought To Be. I don't know why he didn't just pick it up and move it himself. I think he wasn't sure it wasn't some new weird thing the Hoomans had decided he had to endure. Moved the shoe and right to snoresville! |

Yup! Ours do the same thing. Ours have their own bedroom, and stay there at night. DH gets up at 4am, I get up at 5am. So he lets the dogs out, then they come sleep with me.
On Fridays when DH doesn't work, I let them out and they go to bed with him...well Nick does, Rosie begs to go to work with me. On weekends, DH gets up early, lets them out, then we all crash on the bed or a while... but it's never comfortable. |

It wasn't so bad when it was just me and Venus, but with two kids, five dogs, two cats... dammit, I need my space to sleep! Gaud... Diva keeps us all up all night as with CoCo in the ''cat room'' in quarentine, I can't throw her in there when she's being evil. She's trying to jam her way under covers, scratchin' us with her back claws, licking non stop with her rough tongue. Honestly, I'd take the five pit bulls in the bed over this crazy nekkid cat any day!

Veronica sleeps with me & hubby and we wish she would be more snuggly!!!
She's always trying to escape down to the middle end of the bed and curl into a little ball between us; and we want her at the top of the bed under the covers, head on the pillow alternating between snuggling with each of us - snuggling that would consist of full body; face to face contact...and she will not cooperate!!! We stand a slightly better chance of getting good snuggles when it's very cold out. |

Bella is very stealthy.somehow she creeps up into the bed without waking us up and then i wake up in the morning with her head shoved into my armpit she is good about it though cuz she knows if i wake up its back on the floor for her.i have suggested that she sleep in her crate again like when we had the two dogs but the hubby thinks i am horrible.

Bella is a BED-HOG! We had her in bed last night just to read, and she's a smaller pit bull(35lbs) we ended up bringing the fold away in and stuffing it next to the bed so she 'had her own' as she was pigging up all of ours. Now mind you,i can fit me and gl and a 86lb gsd,a 60lb gsd and 2 cats,comfortably....but in no way can a 35lb pit bull sleep with the 2 of us and fit.*shrugs*

I never fell asleep with multiple bullies on my bed...as I feel its to risky. But when Id lay down to read a book often times I had about 5 to 6 adult apbt snuggling with me on a full size mattress. I know even then it was uncomfortable! I couldn't move I was surrounded. Pillow, both sides of me and my feet. after about 20mins of reading Id have to kick the dogs out of bed. I would be boiling from all the heat they put off not to mentioned stiff from being stuck in a tight spot for so long.
