Loose dogs...returned them AGAIN.

Loki,Bella,Nyx and beep were barking at the alley.I peeked out the alley and didn't see anything. Looked out my bay window,a red brindle pit bull and a tan and white jack russel terrier was on my porch.I knew these 2 dogs. This is the second time i have returned these dogs. The jack russel terrier has been running loose all summer and has almost been hit, multiple times. This is the second time I have seen the pit bull running loose with the JRT. I caught and returned the dogs again. The lady who owns the dogs, told me that she was mopping and just put them out because she didnt want them on her floor.WTF??? So you let them roam the streets when you have a fenced in yard??? She lives on a main street for gods sake! I asked her if she wanted me to shut the gate to her yard, she said ''no, they are fine to run loose'' http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/no2.gif Next time I see them loose,i will watch where they are, and call ACO on them.I dont want them to get hit by a car,and the owner is obviously a frikin idiot! They also have no tags,or liscence.Just a worn out flea collar.*sigh* God I hate stupid people.

Yeah,I know.I was being courtious.I know ''accidents happen'' and that dogs CAN be escape artists, and just slip out the door.I had a neighbors dog,a cane corso named brody that got loose, because they just installed new fencing and hadn't got the lock for the gate, but didn't think he'd figure it out that fast.Brody hasnt been loose since. But I get petting rights when he is on walkies.http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/biggrin.pngThe pit and JRT weren't really being agressive,I was just afraid they would get hurt.I have put them back in their yard before, just never talked to anyone. Now that I know its a deliberate thing,i WILL BE CALLING the ACO on her.She needs a wake up call.

pick up the JRT dog and send him to me next time ^^

I agree with PitPop, but I would return them the first time because, you know, accidents do happen, no matter how responsible you are and I would feel bad for sending a dog to the pound because it escaped his yard by digging, jumping etc... but no way I would have gone back a second time! I would've called AC the second time, especially if I saw one of the dogs roam in the neighbourhood for a whole month...

Next time you see them loose, get them, THEN call AC. Some people just shouldnt have pets, seriously.

If im closer than ganja, send him this way..ha! I own some land south of me,(where my mom lives) and weneed a small terrier to control the vermin, rabbits and whatever else stumbles in the yardhttp://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/wink.png

I second what Alma said, its much easier for the ACO to pick them up if you have them corralled already. It'll be good for her to have to pay to get them out of hock. I dunno about your area, but when my neighbors unaltered, 100% backyard (yes even in the cold Idaho winter, ugh) pugs kept getting out and another neighbor called AC they were not only required to pay a large fee to get them out, they also were not able to leave the AC facility until they had the required rabies tag/shots and licenses (which are also super expensive for unaltered dogs). They haven't gotten out since...
And hell, if your irresponsible neighbor doesn't want to pay to get them out of hock then they will have a chance at a more responsible owner.

Your other neighbor's CC sounds really cute. You should ask if you can take pics for us next time you get pets. http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/wink.png

I would also suggest that you tell AC where she lives because if they have a leash law there she would get charged rather than them holding the dogs till they get adopted because she does not care if they are loose or if they come home it sounds.

oo yea and since she does not have them rabies shotted I think some areas that is also a crime so she would get charged for that too.

and I'm sure you do live closer! but why do you try to steal my dog ?! http://www.pitbull-chat.com/images/smilies/lol.gif

gotta love those JRT's ^^
mine digs out whole rat family's in the yard lol it's not pretty nice to clean it all up, even tough she only bites once, and if it's dead, she's happy and goes to the next one so it's not as if they were chewed on or anything, they most of the time don't even bleed, she usually breaks their spine, but it's nice to know there will never be vermin in my house as long as she is around ^^
