Okay so my boyfriends cousin bought this 12 week old puppy from some family in Washington some what near to where we live and he looks almost identical to my boy Socrates. so im wondering if their related. here are some picture do they look alike to you? and is there any way to find out if they are related.

Impossible to know for sure... they do look a lot alike though

DieselDawg could chime in more appropriately on the relation of the defect eyes that your dog has vs. the other dog not having them. I'm not a genetic nutcase (no offence DD) so I'm not sure how that all translates down.

They have the same exact markings but socrates has black on him especially on their faces

not all brown dogs are related, not all white dogs are related, not all black dogs are related, etc.

Markings are markings, they mean little to nothing.

markings mean nothing in regards to the lineage of a dog, without a pedigree from a trustworthy breeder there is no way to know for sure.

I've seen a ton of peoples pictures on here that strongly resemble my puppy.....most likley they arnt related.

But both are very cute!
