Default Question about feeding
I use wellness, is this a good brand? Also, does anyone know anything about red cell? Thanks!

I use wellness and I have found it to be the best food for my pups. It is a good quality food. I do not know anything about red cell, sorry!

Wellness is a very good food.

Why are you using red cell?

I use Nutro puppy for the 8 week old and Nutro High Energy for my 10 yr old. Both love it...it has no byproducts, uses real meat, veggies...and has a good Protein count (28% and 30%) i've tried many different (and MORE expensive brands) and my boys either had itchy skin from the corn meal, a dull coat, accessive waste...BAD gas, or just seemed to have an upset tummy...From my experience Nutro is a good quality food. Anyone else use this?

Here's a great thread on quality kibble. RamobsDad, Purina Puppy Chow is one of the worse, it's full of fillers that have no nutritional value. For your money, you'd be better off with Blue Buffalo puppy formula. It's not going to cost very much more, if any, and it's corn and gluten free, which is way better for their digestive system.

I personally have had HORRIBLE luck with Wellness. I've had quite a few of my dogs get liquid craps on it. That Innova as well.
