I love taking mars anywhere where people will see him and freak out about how cute and good he is. and how "oh my god i can't believe thats a pitbull". He just does his little sweetie thing. He's gotten to the point where if we are in the store when ever anyone walks by he instantly sits, he gets so into the people there; so much so that at times if you don't stop and pet him he will watch you walk and cry.

Mine is still a pup but he loves to go to petsmart. He walks on a leash so much better than those other dogs. If he ever got as agressive as those other dogs they would ban me for bringing a "killer pit bull" to the store but when a lab mix bites a kid and a dalmation they say he just needs more socilization.

I hear that!! Peanut keeps getting "attacked" by chi's and he just stands there like "what the hell?"

Caliber loves to go to Petsmart, he always manages to grab a bag of raw hides when I'm looking the other way, he loves those things. I always have people come up to me telling me how pretty he is and they can't believe he's a pit, they always say, "but he's so well trained". Every pit i've ever met is even more well trained than Caliber. And ohh boy does he love the other dogs He also loves to sit infront of the adoption center and look at the cats through the window!

Peanut doesnt care much for the dogs but boy howdy does he love the cats. I some times wonder if he thinks he is a cat. He sits on the backs of furniture and when he sees cats he gets excited. we had one on the porch last night and it ran off Peanut followed it and then was looking for it with his body wagging.

I heard that its really not good to walk your dogs in those stores b/c of the possibility of so many other dogs with diseases or conditions being in that store too. Probably not true, but thats what I heard..

I cant even make a quick trip in to Petco with Malika. She's an attention getter right out of the truck. People start ooooooing before we even get to the door. We get greeted from the front to the back of the store. 1 1/2 hrs everytime we go..... Canine Commisary is the same way. People love her, its good that she loves people too. Mainly women and kids. She's not scared of big dogs but gets skeptcal when tey start barking or being aggessive, then I just move her away. But she never tucks that tail unless she done something that she knows I dont approve.

We go every Wednesday and Saturday for our training/socialization with a friend of mine who has English Mastiffs. Usually go to PetSmart, or the Pet Saver. I don't like the Petco here, there is always pee all over, it stinks, and you can never find a damn person that works there. The prices at the Petco are about $1-$2 more then PetSmart too. There is more people in PetSmart, but I like that, more of a chalange! lol I get yelled at if I miss a day! Rolex is known as the "makeout king"or the "Sexy Lexy".
And Deebo is the "piss Head"(he likes corners lol), or "Spank the Tank"(likes his butt "spanked" lol) I think it it good for the dogs, and the people meating them.

Micha loves to go to both them. However, lately I've been leaning on the side of caution with her. There are too many variables there, uncontrolled kids and ill trained pets. I just would rather not risk it because if anything happened I know who would get the blame.

Well that probably is the case for a new puppy, but as long as they are up to date on their vaccinations I dont see the harm... it would be the same as you going to the grocery store but you wouldnt bring a new born out there would ya... but a 2 year old would be fine.

Tanner seems to do really well, he loves meeting and greeting.. I remember the first time we took him (we needed to buy him a collar) my bf sat him down on the floor for a second to tie his shoe and I was looking at collars and we turn around and Tanner took off after some little girl he followed her all the way down the isle... He loves little kids and other animals... Zoe on the other hand she is always a lil on edge... she is very shy and she will stay right next to us no matter what... she will let other dogs sniff her and stuff but we can tell when she has had enough and we just walk off... but Tanner could careless who or what was wanting his attention he it there to soak it up...

Default Trips to Petsmart? Petco? Ect.
How many of y'all enjoy going on trip to the pet toy stores? Thats one of my favorite things to do with the dogs... Zoe is a little unsure just because she is uneasy around new people. But Tan man LOVES it... its funny though you know those lil loofa dog toys ... well Tanner loves those so much that every time we go he always seems to find one someone left on a low shelf then carries it all around the store... we have already bought him 2 because he will carry it all the way to the check out... and I just cant resist...

So how bout y'all share some of your fun trips?
