Adagio...same policy at my workplace. The only non-sanctioned software I had on my PC was a small Chinese language word processor and a small mindmapping software that I've just had to uninstall seeing the IT guys will be auditting the PCs next week.

Apparantly, because we outsourced our IT/tech support, there's something in their contract about problems created by "illegal"/ unapproved software.
