Hi, our group of 6 Canadian guys (the un-official Canadian drinking team) are coming to Puerto Plata in January 2004 for 2 weeks. None of us have been to the Dominican before so we are looking for tips and suggestions. We all like to have a good time (most of us have been to Mardi Gras N.O. a couple of times) at night, and relax and tour during the day. We would love some suggestions as to where to party. As well, if anyone else is planning a trip in mid Jan, possibly hook-up? We are staying in the hotel strip between Puerto Plata and Cabarete. So any suggestions? Anyone else planning a trip?
