1. Mark Sanchez is the first rookie in like 100 years to go 3-0 to start the season. Is he the real deal or will the Jets come back to Earth?

2. Joe Flacco threw for his 2nd 300-yard game of the season. When the hell did the Ravens get a passing attack and how does this bode for the rest of the league?

3. Kurt Warner looked terrible Sunday Night against a pretty mediocre Colts defense. Matt Leinart ended up finishing the game. Warner gets the benefit of the doubt but the Cardinals look awful. Maybe time for a change will come sooner than anticipated.

4. I missed this last week so I have to point it out this week -- Antwan Odom had 5 sacks last week and now has 7 on the season. He's on pace to break the record. Of course, he got 0 this week but anyone think he'll get close to the record? Anyone think he won't even finish the season with over 12 sacks? I'm leaning toward the latter here.

5. And last but not least, the Detroit Lions won their first game since Barry Sanders retired. Great job, guys.

No fumble at the 5 yard line and the Cards going up 10-7 could have set a whole different tone.

6. Kevin Kolb throws for over 300 yards in his 1st two NFL starts, something NO other QB has done.

While the Marlins have been eliminated from division contention, they are still technically alive for the NL Wild Card. I'm surprised the club would allow its ace to play football yet.

brett favre competes a shade over 50% of his passes, should've had at least four ints, yet still is lauded as the savior of a team with a dilussional fan base (other than myself, pnky, and kobe, of course).

They should really start him over Leftwich at this stage until Freeman is ready. From what I've read he didn't look bad in his time in the game and at this stage anything to boost his trade value would be a good thing for the Bucs.

Warner has looked terrible in 2 of 3 games this season. Good thing he played great in week 2 or there would be much more talk of benching him in Arizona.
