My sixth great grandfather on my mother side is Ben Franklin (yeah, the founding father guy). More importantly, my older brother has 3 super bowl rings as a member of the New England Patriots. He is also the guy that knocked the crap out of the streaker in the Super Bowl against Carolina. He now plays for the NY Jets. No more Super Bowl rings.

A friend of our family's cousin is Micheal Sheen who was married to Kate Beckinsale, and one of my cousins is a famous TV hair-dresser in Russia and/or Armenia.

Default Are You Related to Anyone Notable / Famous / Notorious / Inf
Is anyone on this forum related to someone famous?
Or has anyone in your family done something in society that has been on the news?
Or has someone in your family perhaps invented something?
I am related to Henry Perlowski, a very well known attorney in Georgia, USA
(nothing too special)

My family is also a personal friend of author Susan Jedren.

I wish I knew the extent of my lineage. For all I know, I could be a far descendant of Liu Bei.

ummm, my great uncle was the biggest antique seller in all of eastern canada until he retired. queen victoria once slept in his house. and when we went to visit my sister slept in the same bed she did. his house was mighty creepy though. it was one of those houses with like 50 hallways that were really narrow and dark with the large portraits that would seem to stare at you as you walked in the hall. i didnt like it that much. he has sold the house since.
otherwise no famous people in my family. though my friends dad is lindsay lohans security guard/chauffer.

One of my great, great ancestors was Prime Minister of England during the time that the American Colonies were founded. I can't remember his first name, but his last name was Slocum(b)

I haven't the faintest idea. When you think about it, we're all related.

Me I'm just a regular schmoe, but I'm related to a bunch of over acheivers. My dad is a pretty well known person within the US special Ops community and is now a writer. While he is published, he is not famous. However he is friends with a fair number of famous writers (and nows several political figures, though I doubt he would call them friends).
My Family is also part Panamanian. On that side My great Great great grandfather was the last Colombian Governor of Panama and panama's Congress building is named after him. Several of my forefathers and family members that were decendants of him have held varying political posts in the panamanian government since then (both elected and appointed) at pretty much every level of government.

I know this doesn't count, but my cousins' next door neighbor is Stuart Scott (ESPN sports commentator) and I've met him and his family a few times. Very nice people.

haha thats awesome, i think stuart scott is awesome, personally i think every chuck norris joke should be a stuart scott joke, i mean stuart scott just jas no remorse, i rememebr after the heat won the nba finals and hes talking to avery johnson and he was asking some pretty rude questions for a guy who just lost the finals 5 minutes ago like "avery, how does it felel to know you are one of ONLY 2 (maybe it was 3 i dont know for certaint eh number but it was low) teams to loose a final after a 2-0 lead"
and i just remember sitting back laughing like how mean of stuart scott to shove that in his face.
