You have to pay for hosting it on a server, unless you have your own server

Default vBulletin Questions
I'm looking into doing a project with an old website that used to be pretty popular, and I was wondering if anybody has any idea how much this would cost. It's an older style of vBulletin(I'm not sure if it still exists), and I'm not even sure how I would go about finding the same layout, but does anybody have an idea how much it would cost to set this up?

If I were to do it, I'd wanna do the same type of forum, same layout, etc. I don't know much about vBulletin so I'm not sure how to go about doing this. If I do purchase a vBulletin, would it be something where I need to know a bunch of coding and all that, or will it be simple, like setting up categories and forum names(Which is what I'm used to on free forums)?
