eh, like I said... I'll still take my iPhone over anything else. I'm wholly unimpressed by the Droid in comparison. I love mine, Anastasia loves hers, and pretty much everyone that I know that has one loves it.

He didn't discredit the Android platform, simply said that the iPhone platform is superior. Which whether you want to believe it or not, is a very accurate statement. The fact that the Droid platform isn't tied to a specific manufacturer is both a blessing and a curse. It allows for more open development, but at the same time, the interface, experience, and usability aren't going to match up with the single-party platform that the iPhone has. Like I said, I've used and messed around with three different Droid phones... the Motorola Droid (my dad's) Nexus One (brother), and the Eris (sister-in-law)... while they're all nice phones in their own right, they simply don't match up with the quality of the interface and experience of the iPhone.

My work is buying a Droid X, iPhone 4, and iPad with 6 month contracts and 3 of us are going to trade off using them to "test" them.
