Not quite sure with the small amount of phones Google sold if this will really make a difference.. I'm not sure if it even made it to Canada..

I'm not a good judge of that. I don't even have a cell phone. But I think Google is probably better off staying out of the cell phone market. Just my opinion.

They have the only phones that compete with the iphone. i think they have gotten a good hold of the market. in the article it clearly states that although the nexus one wasnt marketed well, the Droid and the upcoming Droid X are top sellers with a strong following

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Android surpassed iOS in the near future.

and Nexus One is an HTC phone.
The OS is still Android on both phones though, made by Google
