It would have been better if he named it the iTablet. The iPad is just not good.

Seriously, this guy is obsessed with the letter 'i'

Wonder if he would invent a plane and call it iPlane

Apple unveils "iPad" tablet device* - Yahoo! News UK

Apple Inc Chief Executive Steve Jobs took the wraps off the "iPad" tablet on Wednesday, looking to define a new category of wireless device that will play video, games and all sorts of other media.

Called the "iPad," the device is Apple's biggest product launch since the iPhone three years ago, and arguably rivals the smartphone as the most anticipated in Apple's history.

The iPad has a near life-sized touch keyboard and supports Web browsing. It comes with a built-in calendar and address book, Jobs said.

Technology enthusiasts had expected to see a sleek, full-colour, 10-inch gadget with a touchscreen interface and wireless connectivity, designed for snacking on all sorts of media from videos to games to electronic books and newspapers.

He forgot to mention OTz

Yup, he likes the letter i as in i get money from suckers..

Although Apple products are pretty good they usually are very proprietary..

I would imagine this system will be running on the old PA Semi processors.. Under PA Semi the company was doing very well but I would hesitate to use the products under Apple today..

In any case I would never buy a new product as it is just released.. Just like a new car model.. Few ever have no big problems..

Time will tell..

To be honest, I won't get it. It all seems far too much, technology is improving, but at this rate, the next version will be out next week
