i have tried WAX. It is ok, but not as good as what i use now.

XP has something called Windows Movie Maker built in....or at least mine does. Not sure how it works or how well......but it is cheap!

I use Power Producer 2 Gold.......but I'm not sure if it costs much....I had it put on my computer by the guy i bought it from.

I've never edited any of our home videos. I'd love to make a bunch of compilation type DVD's for the kids for Christmas. This is my oldest son's senior year. *sniff*

It would also be cool to put music in - some of the videos don't really have any good sounds to them - like clips of our cats and the office dog - but that's not absolutely necessary.

My daugther has Windows Movie Maker on her laptop, but I don't have it on either my work computer or the one at home.

The Power producer has the capabilty to insert music......not sure about WMM.
