No one has used one yet I assume??? Well, I just really dislike touchscreen phones, especially with all this junk I'll never use. I've dropped it 12 times just trying to use the damn thing. So, onward we go with a new and hopefully better option.

i use the Motorola Z3 RIZR. Plain jain phone with an MP3 player. It is one of those "slider" phones, and is fairly small.

My service is T-Mobile, though.

Honestly... who needs live tv, mp3 and gps on a friggin phone? I could really care less about the touchscreen also.

If I can call or text someone, I'm content.... with this thing, I ask, were is T9? gives you a keyboard layout on the screen. I end up taking a picture instead.

I've never seen or used it. But I like my Tilt but it has features that I NEED. I'm always amazed/amused by people that over buy and get a smart phone they don't want or need.

I have the Rant....and I really dont care for it. The keyboard is so small but I guess its better than the ones on the other phones. One major problem i have is that the screen is suppose to flip whenever you slide the keyboard out...and sometimes it doesnt. OR, whenever I'm in the middle of texting, for some reason it just freezes up, the screen goes black and I have to completely turn the phone off and back on.

I was considering getting one to replace my BlackBerry Pearl. The price on it made me want to stay with what I've got for anouther year. Though I am buying the wife as a late Christmas Gift...the other new Samsung phone...the Gravity. She needs to upgrade from her Razr V3 anyway.

Um, I enjoy having those on my phone. I use GPS all the time on my iPhone, plus having movies/tv shows & MP3s for travel is perfect (especially flights).

I bought my son a Blackberry Storm for Christmas.
I have to admit I want one. I just got my Razor V-9 not
long ago, so will keep it for now. Actually it does all I need
it to, and I can check my email on it. That's a feature I
really like since we can't access personal email from work.

I tried the Storm for a few days...crashed several times and the touchscreen keyboard is way too small for me. So I went back to the Curve. I really wanted to like this phone but I really found that I prefer an actual keyboard I can feel.

Did you switch networks to try it? I am really surprised that AT&T didn't get the Storm....

He uses Verizon for his phone service, and so far
has had no problems with it. I checked on the
AT&T website, and they don't offer the Storm yet.

I use Alltel here in Midland but I have Verizon out of our Ft. Worth office for business.

They opted for The Bold instead.

Once the merger with Verizon and Alltel goes through, we should have access to those phones here locally.

One advantage of the Storm is also that you can
open attachments on it. You can get an email
with an Excel or Word doc and open it on your
phone.

I do like that feature and the speed of the browser. It kept shutting down and restarting. Our phone guy said they were still working out the kinks but for me it really just came down to the keyboard....put a keyboard.

If I was reading correctly on the BlackBerry website yesterday...they've already released an upgrade to the OS. maybe that will correct some of the problems.
