Where do I change the option

Say, if I wanted to click on my email Icon on yahoo, where do I change it to open with firefox and not IE. Same with links, if someone sends me a link in yahoo, it opens with IE. This is also the same with my outlook express, it opens with IE. Firefox is my default browser and I actually have to go search for IE because its nowhere on my desktop or in my start menu, so I dont like using it. Any help is appreciated.

LOL, i could tell you, but then i would have to kill you.

Usually, if you just right click on the shortcut you can choose the "Open With" selection. In there you can select Firefox, and it should default from there.

Otherwise, you will need to go through "Folder Options", and it will take me awhile to figure out the exact path. by the time i do that, Nline will already have your answer typed.

Sounds like default browser settings are broken.

Goto Start, Control Panel, Add or Remove Programs. Then click "Set Program Access defaults"

Click Custom. Select Internet Explorer as the default browser and make sure the checkbox for Enable access to this program is selected.

Do the same for Outlook express. All other programs uncheck the box, Firefox, Thunderbird, Yahoo Mail, AOL, any others uncheck. Save and exit.

Click on a yahoo mail link. IE should open.

(But I want Firefox not IE. I know that, we are only half way there.)

Go back to the first step and repeat everything but this time select Firefox and your favorite email program instead of the Microsh!t stuff.

See if that fixes everything.
