I ask that question somewhat in jest. The reason being this link:

I know of this stuff going on behind the scenes, but finding it in the public domain is always a thrill for me (even though the article is from 1999, i was not aware that this stuff was ever discussed openly).

But it is not Steiner. It is the result of voice "morphing" technology developed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico.
Not only is the voice morphing available (and likely much improved, given that this article is 10 years old), but so are holographs:

But the "strategic" PSYOPS scheming didn't die. What if the U.S. projected a holographic image of Allah floating over Baghdad urging the Iraqi people and Army to rise up against Saddam, a senior Air Force officer asked in 1990? The reason i bring this up is due to several reasons. First, Eury and his story about the miracle in Egypt with the Virgin Mary would completely fit in this capacity. Just to throw that out there.

As well, i have a friend who TRULY believes that 9-11 was an inside job with explosions and holographic jets. Seems far fetched, so i leave it to him to prove his case (John Lear). But i have done some of my own research and aided him in his arguement.

Which brings me to the primary reason this stands out at me: Paint The Night. PTN was a project that Mike Muuss was working on when he died. Many of you might know the name, as Mike Muuss was the writer of the "ping" script that all network admins know so well.

It seems as though he got in with the ARL and began designing holographic systems for theater creation to help with training.

I know the ARL was working on holographic tech, and now i see that the AFRL was wanting the same tech. I can guarantee you the Navy had the same idea.

So, now i have to search for the papers on the resulting programs. They may be classified, they may not and just be hidden in plain sight.

But it is interesting information to know.

It concerns me that what we as humans see with our own eyes or hear with our own ears, could be called into question. For the record, I believe that airplanes comandered by terrorist did fly into the WTC, the Pentagon, and also crashed in Pennsylvania.
It is hard to believe that anyone could have staged something so massive. The beginning technology may be out there, I would not doubt it, but to think anyone would use it to destroy human life, especially in such large numbers, is just not possible for me to comprehend, much less believe my Country would be responsible for it.
I know you are intending to discuss the technology part of it, but I just had to add my .02 on that theory about 9-11.

well...i believe it was true, actual planes, too. I am not a "troofer". but if there IS a truth out there, i don't want it hidden, either. so i wil turn over a stone "just in case".

Lear is a little out there himself. but he has had some real winners, too.

I agree and what would be the point. I have questions about 911 but not about planes being used as kamikaze bombs. If "they" were willing to kill people on the ground and in the towers why would they bother with holograms of planes? It is far easier to simply rig the planes for remote control or even convince some fool to actually fly it into a building then rigging up giant holograms.

don't under estimate US capability. "rigging" that up would not be the most difficult part of the alleged conspiracy.
