Computer resale shop?

Do we have one around here that anybody knows about? Or should I just post all my computer stuff in the garage sale forum? My tiny apartment is getting filled up with stuff.

I have an extra one I need to sell too with an all in one printer;
and then another separate printer and separate scanner. All work
great, but I'm not real sure how to price them.

Abnormal, why don't you start a thread in the Garage Sale section
titled COMPUTER EQUIPMENT FOR SALE and then we can all post
what we have in that thread....unless of course you'd rather do yours
separately by itself. I suppose you could start one titled that under Tech Talk just as well, either/or.

I think there might be some places who will take donations. Like Salvation Army or United Way.

Ok, I'll do that this week.

At the office we donated 30+ computers in various states of usefullness to Midland College's Upward Bound program. They are going to refurbish them back into working condition and give them to their students to take home for school use.

Got any PCI Cards with TV-OUT?

I'm starting to dislike E-bay because people jack the shipping price so high it's only a couple bucks less then buying the item from Newegg.

The whole e-bay thing just seems so pointless to me now with people doing that.
Does E-bay take so much from your sale you don't make money?

I wonder how much those people actually sell?
I mean someone has to be really hard up for a server board if their willing to pay $150 + $29.99 shipping for a dual p3 motherboard. without the cpu's. :?

Do you have anymore info on this. I have a ton of computer parts that I would love to donate.

When I get to the office tomorrow I'll get the info you're asking for. The best part...Those boxes in the students hands are running Ubuntu Linux. 8)

I really like Ubuntu, and it's only going to get better since they've got backing from Sun Microsystems.

I like Ubuntu also but without a kernal compile it can be a little sluggish on P3 era PC's.

I've been playing with PCLinuxOS minime version & it's quite snappy on a 750mhz cpu.
