Since we recently have an obsession of this type of threads among Eastern Europeans, Balkans and Slavs. I thought we could take this to the core white people of Europe.

So what you think, who are "whiter", Germans or Swedes?

Genotypically or phenotypically? Phenotypically, I would say Swedes. As for genotype, I don't know. I associate Scandinavians and Icelanders with the epitome of whiteness. Not really Germans so much.

This is a half-way hilarious thread title. But if I had anything to say about this, it would be that linguistically and physically, I think one could say Germans VS Swedes is sort of like Japanese VS Thai. The Japanese are more "halted" in the way they express themselves, and people from Thailand are more melodious. Likewise Germans VS Swedes, in a way.

Germans because they fit more the caucasoid spectrum, quite a few swedes have lappid/uralic strains. If the question is who is more white looking refering to who looks more northern in average then the answer would be swedes.

A lot of icelanders have very infantile features, very round faces, little noses and in cases even sort of uralic/lappid strains, definitely not extreme caucasians. The same applies in many cases to swedes and norwegians.

Im sure bavarians are not as "white" as swedes (using the logic the more northern european the more white that some people seem ti believe.) on average but some groups like east frisians are as blond as swedes and metrically much more extreme caucasians (bigger/sharper noses,longer and narrower faces on average and even probably taller people)

I don't think Sweden has the darker alpinoid types found all throughout Southern Germany, or the dark nord types either. Sweden is clearly lighter, and I don't think there is that much Uralic admix either, hardly any, probably.

But sometimes I get a certain inferiority complex in many people pointing out this around theses forums; "oh how lappoid they're, oh how nordid there". Not that I care, since these phenos standardization is totally pathetic. But I find it funny how a lot of people get those 30s stuff seriously. In real life this is irrelevant, Swedes in Sweden are not judged by CI.

why should Germany be considered uniquely 'white'? Its a central European, large country.

Its just legacy of Nazizm, they have this burden on their back, like some racial exam 'oh, German? lets see now how nordic you are yourself, you racist' if Nazizm had never happenned, noone would probably be analysing Germans this way
