Default Immigrants who were non-assimilated in their birth country, how they adapt?
There are immigrants in the US and I'm sure elsewhere as well who were not assimilated in the countries they were born in. There are Mayas here in the US from Central America, who can't even talk Spanish. There are also Indigenous peoples in Geneva, Switzerland from South America. How do these non-assimilated people adapt in the new host countries? Also it must be really strange for them to be called a Mexican, Venezuelan, Colombian etc and represent that country without wanting to when they weren't assimilated into that country's culture or society.

Yeah but I'd like their opinions and philosophical thoughts.

It really depends on the culture of your family. Everything else is secondary.

If they couldn't even adapt in their birth countries, then even less at the new ones.
