Default Which country has the most unfriendly people?
I'd have to say the UK is certainly up there. Social groups and cliques tend to be quite close knit in the UK, and people generally don't go out of their way to speak to people outside their immediate social group. Also, having conversations with strangers here, perhaps wating for a bus or a train is almost taboo in the UK. Strangers just don't speak to each other, and people who do strike up random conversations are regarded as a bit weird.

So yes, I'd say the British are some of the least friendly people. Sober we have a tendency to be cold and distant, under the influence of alcohol we then have a tendency to become hostile and aggresive.

Spain.. at least the experience that I have with Spaniards makes me think so, of course, I would never generalize this.. but Spaniards are cocky and arrogant sometimes and without a reason..

Never had problems with Brits, they are quite nice, I always meet them here in the Pubs..

Being quiet and shut doesnt necessarely means they are unfriendly; it means they are introverted, not ill-mannered.

That being said, I think the most rude people are Russians. My sister went to Russia on september and she wasnt pleased by the way russians treated she and her husband.

They had no problems in Hungary, Czech Rep., Austria nor Poland.

Here there's a stereotype that spaniards are unfriendly.
Not really, I don't believe stereotypes, I prefer to use my own experiences to try to judge.

Some Spaniards ("some" being the key word here) I've met were extremely obnoxious and rude.

I recall once in a nightclub when I Spanish girl approached me and asked for a lighter, and I said that I didn't have one because it was forbidden to smoke in the club then she started talking to me nicely and so on.. suddenly a bald dude (that was in the group of Spaniards) came and started pushing me and talking shit with me in spanish and for no reason (I wasn't interested in the girl and wasn't even close to her) so I pointed a bottle of beer to his face and told him to fuck off and some of my friends came to separate and stop the argument. I hate arguing harshly and having this attitude, but the guy was up to make a mistake..

The guy wasn't in his neighborhood, I would never get on a girl who have a boyfriend (I respect everyone).. but I'm not a kid anymore and I can't stand insults without a reason.

I've mentioned one bad experience with spaniards.. I had others but not so freaking stupid like this one..

Pointed a bottle of beer? I didn't get that part. Did you hit him with it?

Anyway it's not a strong stereotype here but you hear lots of stories of people who went to Madrid and complained that the spanish were rude and "pretended they couldn't understand them in portuguese" while the people in Barcelona can.

LOL.. no, of course I didn't hit him.. was just to make him stop pushing me and talking loud in Spanish, I dunno what I would do if he insisted.. I would probably hit him because I was a little bit drunk and when we drink we can make mistakes that can cost us a lot. Thanks God nothing more serious happened..two of my friends were carrying pistols (they're police men) and they were very calm..

also i think it generally depends on the city or place.. if tourist come visit new york then they would say that americans are unfriendly but if they visit other areas of the united states then they would have a different perception

That's because we New Yorkers get so many stupid questions from annoying tourists while we're busy rushing from place to place (New Yorkers are always in a rush) that we just tell them to go fuck off.

Spanish people. They expect you to act like them in your country. If you resist, you're "cerrado" (closed, narrow-minded, reserved, dim).

This topic is so stupid.

What else are Ethiopians/Somalis? they are not Caucasian, thats a myth outdated myth created by whites. Genetics proves Ethiopians are more related to Western Africans than Eurasians. Habeshas may have strait noses and light skin but its not a result of mixture with arabs or northern africans, northern ethiopian abeshas are more related to southern cushitic people like the "konso, and oromo" than with "ay - rabs" If anything we populated the Arabs and created the semitic languages, not the other way around.

Ethiopians are black negriods.:.
