Racism is seriously not limited to White people, it's strongly found across every single race..I'm not sure why it comes as a question. Even those who have historically been victims of racism are in turn racist to specific groups they perceive as inferior to them, it's like a cycle, it can never really be eliminated, it seems to be human nature. In China, there is certainly racism, I've read about how half-Chinese/half-Africans or simply African people do suffer discrimination and mockery in China. I remember reading about this story that sparked attention on anti-Black sentiment in China:
Lou_1522231c.jpg Lou Jing, a Chinese reality TV show contestant, whose appearance on the show has provoked a vigorous and often racist national debate. Lou Jing sings Shanghai opera and speaks fluent Mandarin, but when she competed to be China's next reality TV pop star, it was not her voice that was criticised - it was her black skin. |

mostly blacks who get the most of the abuses unlike the other Eurasians it's normal that people like the chinese who are very organized see those people as the antithesis of their culture, especially when the only contact they have with blacks in via TV(hollywood and MTV) |

so if we destroy/Gas all the Ghetto insolent Jigs then will respect comeback for the blacks. and personally i hate being sterotype at (use to) school with people saying i'm not black and not acting black etc etc etc.... Also, it's easy blaming the J00z. Way to go there. |

I also blame group dynamics. It's hard to row against the flow when the mainstream of your culture consists of that ghetto mentality. It's hard to act opposite to the people you're surrounded by (other Black people who act like Jigs). anyway yeah it is really the mentallity of the society whether black/ghetto or Upper class white. of course my mom told me before i go to Africa i must stop being so independant (since the elders control everything) and stop cursing because Africa/Northern kenyans don't like cursing |

Well, that's a silly question! Of COURSE there's racism in Chinese culture! Every culture has a bit of racism. From what I gather, though, it's moreso colorism than racism. You're fine as long as you're light skinned. If you're dark, though... good luck!
But it's starting to reverse: http://www.asian-nation.org/headline...hina-tan-skin/ tl;dr: having a healthy, good tan is increasingly considered a sign of wealth in China |

There is not a single society in the world that doesn't have racists, blacks included. Its just in the case of China most Chinese people are ignorant about black people because outside of the people living in a handful of cities, the vast vast majority of Chinese have never even seen a black person face to face.
So this might lead them to make assumptions about black people based on what they see on tv, read in the news and learn in school. So sometimes there will be very ignorant and insensitive things being said by a group of people but that does not represent the overwhelming majority of Chinese people. To generalize an entire country based on a few racist netizens is akin to calling Americans racist based on some comments made by rednecks or kkk members about a certain group. |
