From what age ranges do you consider a person to be a youth or adult child? And is there an ethnic factor? Can an african or arab man be considered a young child when they are 18-20? Unlike an asian or northern european man.
The general definition of youth or young adult is from 18-25 and youth is often described from age 12-25. |

In my opinion, it depends on how you look like and how mature you are. If you're grown up and you behave like a child then they treat you accordingly and vice versa. You can be young and very mature physicaly or in character. In general I think that in richer and more prosperous societies people grow up later whilst in developing, underdeveloped and poor societies people have to survive and they mature easier. Physicaly and mentaly. But again this is not the rule as there are always exceptions

The age of being over the hill keeps getting pushed back. If you notice, many people are actually looking younger later in life than they used to (and acting it too). This has a lot to do with better nutrition and a softer, less taxing lifestyle.
In my home culture, young is when you're single if you're a male and for a female young is you're still able to have babies. |
